1. Faux Fur - You're going to start seeing faux fur all over, and don't be shy about wearing a big collar or hood on your morning commute. You may notice, though, that it tends to get a little sticky on longer, sweaty rides, so I wouldn't recommend it for touring necessarily.2. The Layered Look - Skirts over slacks, sweaters over collared shirts, all of this bodes well for the cyclist, who knows that, above all, you don't want cotton as your bottom layer.
3. Lycra - As the '80s continue to experience their moment(s) in the fashion spotlight, Lycra stocks have risen sharply, which is old hat to cyclists. But good news, the arm warmers and other spandex gear we've come to rely upon is now available in an incredible array of colors and styles. Remember, the road is your runway. Strut (or pedal) your stuff!
