We're all on some kind of road -- some kind of trajectory that pushes or leads us in various directions in our lives. I like to think of bicycle travel as a positive force on our road. It leads us to new adventures, new places, and opens doors that otherwise would remain closed.
I believe that bicycle travel can bring people together. It can improve health. And it's good for our environment. And an added benefit: In these troubled economic times, it's one of the easiest and least expensive ways to go on a vacation. Ride a few hours away from your home and you can relax in your own personal retreat. Mine would be in a tent, but the choices are endless.
Inspiring people of all ages to travel by bicycle is Adventure Cycling's nonprofit mission. And with your help, we provide the tools cyclists need to hit the road and find their way.
Happy cycling!
