Sunny Options for Early Season Cycling

Sarah is south of the border so her tours colleague, John Weyrich, thought he'd weigh in on some sunny tours options for your early season pleasure.

"Things are really hopping here in the Tours Department. Those interested in registering for our early season supported tours best not hesitate: our Texas Hill Country tour already has a waiting list, and our California Winter Warmer and Southern Arizona Road Adventure are half full and three-quarters full, respectively. The latter two trips offer ample opportunities to do some fun riding in warmer climes, with plenty of fantastic scenery and unique, off-bike diversions thrown in for good measure.

"The
Winter Warmer, in particular, offers a splendid chance to do some great road training; on the tour’s several layover days, participants may elect to either do tame pleasure cruises out in the relatively flat desert or, heading in the other direction, climb to their hearts’ content into the same hills used during the Tour of California stage race.

"Our
Southern Arizona trip offers similar riding opportunities, though the emphasis here is oriented slightly more toward the aesthetic side of the cyclo-touring experience. Feel free to give us a call at 800-755-2453 ext. 3, if you care to discuss these or any of our offerings in greater detail. Till next time, here's to sunny cycling in 2010!"
